Boulanger, a French electronical goods retailer, has opened a new concept store in Paris where mobility is at the heart of the customer experience. Its design has been inspired by the success of the Apple Store. For example, in this store, the customer’s mobile application can interact with mobile POS owned by the sales representative.

  • The mobile POS is changing the influence of the sales associates
  • Services are key for the customer experience
  • Click and Collect desk at the entrance of the store
  • Interactive screens to access to product information

What to do and see

DOWNLOAD THE APP

Boulanger has one of the most comprehensive applications in the French retail sector. Highlights include being able to talk live with a sales assistant, to follow the status of after sales repairs and to set up meetings in store.

Pay the right price

Thanks to electronic tags, prices are updated directly from the website. So when a price changes, it can immediately be revised for all channels; the web and retail store. You can also check customer reviews by scanning the tags.

BROWSE THE CATALOG

Each shelf has a self-service terminal to review products and their supporting information on a scale of 1:1.

TALK TO A STAFF MEMBER

Retail staff are equipped with mobile terminals allowing them to chat in real time with customers who are not even in store.

ASK FOR A DAILY HELP

Courses, cooking classes, setting up your equipment . .. The Boulanger porter is there to help and provide support everyday.
