A good example of Online to Offline

Historically a pure player, L’Exception has just opened a flagship within the Canopée architectural project in the Forum des Halles.

The founder explains it all

Concept : Select store of French designers

Conceived as an extension to the digital experience, the store offers a selection of young French brands and exclusive events. The store is a crossover, as customers can enjoy a Coutume Café’s coffee, Gontran Cherrier pastries or delicious dishes at La Petite Table.

WHY VISITING THE STORE ?

HAVE A COFFEE OR LUNCH

In this clothes store, the concepts are hybrid. You can have a coffee or even lunch right in the heart of the boutique.

DISCOVER AND BE INSPIRED

You’ll find inspiration on the retailer’s social wall, which displays Instagram photos of other customers. Indeed, L’Exception brands itself as a curation store for young French creators.

EXPERIENCE OMNICHANNEL RETAILING LIVE

You can order online in the store itself, which is also a click & collect point. Internally, the store is run like the web site.

TRY ON CLOTHES IN A DIGITAL FITTING ROOM

The fitting rooms are digital with tablets on which you can browse the web site or see the product information sheets of the clothes you try on.

BUY A BOOK OR MAKE-UP

While the retailer’s main vocation is to present French creators, it takes hybridization further by selling you books or make-up.
