A player in parcel distribution, Dynamic Parcel Distribution, better known as DPD, offers residents of the Friedrichshain district in Berlin a disruptive collection point concept. Obviously, the space plays, in the first place, that of a last mile warehouse. Every day, 300 packages are delivered, without polluting emissions, by electric cargo bikes. For those who prefer to collect their purchases directly, the place also has a collection point… but not only that! A real boutique, it includes, for example, a fitting room so that unsuitable clothes can be immediately returned. Reuse of used packaging, purchase of greeting cards or goodies… the offer is broad and engaging for the consumer.

Why visit the store ?

Pick up a package

Function number 1 of the place: distribute packages. The space thus serves as a mini urban warehouse allowing parcels to be delivered to the neighborhood by electric cargo bikes. If it’s easier for you, you can come directly to pick them up. The icing on the cake is that if the journey has made you tired, don’t hesitate to order a coffee on site.

Unpack and try on your purchases

Once your package is in hand, you can unwrap it on the large table at your disposal to check that everything is in order. If you’ve purchased clothes, you no longer have to go home to try them on before having to come back to send them back. Two fitting rooms are at your disposal in the point of sale.

Giving a second life to packaging

You have just unpacked your package in store. Why throw away your packaging when it can be reused for another consumer? Simply place it in the “Verwert-Bar” to give it a second life.

Buy a goodie

Are you planning to send a package to a loved one? Why not add a little attention to it! In store, you will find a selection of greeting cards, goodies or, for fans of the brand, products in DPD colors.

Send your package

You don’t have any cardboard at home? Direction the “Verwert-Bar”. Using a seamstress’s tape, you will be able to select a used cardboard box and then do your packaging using the utensils available on the central island.
